The premises of
Chiranthana Home for Aged and Disabled

The land (15 cents) for the project is donated by Mr. Vadheesh Rao (USA), Mr. Nagesh Rao (USA) and Mr. Ramesh Rao, in memory of their parents Late Hosabettu Rama Rao and Smt. Varija. Thus, campus is named "VARIJA RAMARAO SEVASHRAMA".

The foundation stone for this project was laid by
Rajarshi Dr. D. Veerendra Heggade,
Dharmadhikari, Shree Kshetra Dharmasthala
on 18th August 2006

The building was inaugurated on April 11,2008 by
Sri U Gangadhar Bhat,
President, Sri Satya Sai Loka Seva Trust, Alike

The building, with an approximate floor area of 9000 sq. ft. is built with a cost of approx. Rs. 85,00,000.

This building houses 10 single beded rooms, 7 two beded rooms and 7 three beded rooms, Staff Quarters, Management Quarters and Guest Rooms.

"Kuteera" - A semi-open area for the residents to sit and enjoy the fresh air

 
Bunk bed in each floor, for the night attendant's stay, with provision to house accessories like mayo trolleys (used to serve food to the bedridden), food serving trolleys, wheelchairs, etc.
