Baarayya Beladingale
“Baarayya Beladingale” is the monthly cultural programme organised by Chiranthana with an objective of providing entertainment not only to its inmates but also to the Art lovers of the locality, free of cost. Facilitating the elderly, an atmosphere of celebration, Chiranthana attempts to cheer them up and to relieve them of their home-sickness.
This unique chain of programmes is dedicated to Late Sri P. Kalinga Rao, who popularised the song - ”Baarayya Beladingale”
Under the shade of Baarayya Beladingale, Chiranthana is organising Indian Classical Music, Instrumental Music, Folk Art , Dance, Drama along with other programmes to create public awareness.
Encouraging this unique idea of Chiranthana, Mr. B. Ramesh Rao, Surathkal and the Inner Wheel club, Surathkal have donated a stage for holding this programme at the Varija Rama Rao Sevashrama premises.
Through this project, Chiranthana is trying to promote Indian Art & Culture, create public awareness and develop the place as a cultural center.
The programmes organised under this banner have received very high appreciation from the visitors.
